Kristen Bell

Kristen Anne Bell (born July 18, 1980)[1] is an American actor and singer. She began her acting career in the Tisch School of the Arts in New York. While there, she starred in performances on stage. The comedy musical The Adventures of Tom Sawyer was her Broadway debut. The Crucible revival came out in the year following. After her appearance in the action thriller Spartan (2004) which she also starred in, she was praised for her performance in Gracie's Choice (2004). In 2004 she made her stage debut as Becky Theresa in the comedy musical The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Then, she appeared in the title role in the drama for teens on television Veronica Mars (2004-2007). She was awarded critical acclaim for her performance as well as a Saturn Award nomination for Best Actress on TV. She reprised the eponymous role in the 2014 movie and the new season in 2019. While on Veronica Mars, Bell starred in the role of Mary Lane in the musical film Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical (2005), reprising the role she had been in the New York musical of the similar name.Bell was the lead character Elle Bishop in the superhero drama series Heroes from 2007 to in 2008. Bell was the voice of the character's narrator on the show for teens called Gossip Girl. She will reprise the role for the sequel set for 2021. Bell was also the lead actress on Showtime's show, Jeannie van den Hooven on House of Lies. Bell was the lead character Eleanor Shellstrop, the leading role on the critically acclaimed NBC comedy series The Good Place. She was nominated for an award called the Golden Globe Award. Bell was also the main character in the streaming series The Woman in the House Across the Street to the Girl in the Window. In film, Bell had her breakthrough role in Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008). She has since appeared in several comedy films, including Couples's Retreat (2009), When in Rome (2010), You Again (2010), The Boss (2016), Bad Moms (2016) as well as A Bad Moms Christmas (2017). Bell received further attention for playing the role of the role of Princess Anna in the Disney animated films Frozen (2013), Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018), as well as Frozen II (2019).
