Her parents are Harvey Welker a Native American father, and Julie Welker an African-American mother. Her mother is a real estate agent while her father is engineer. Walker completed her studies at Germantown Friends School located in the city of Philadelphia's Germantown district in 1994. In 1998, she received her degree from Harvard College with a Bachelor's degree. Welker is happily married for more than 20 years with John Hughes who is a famous marketing director at Merck Philadelphia. The couple are parents to two children. In 2014 the couple began to engage in an affair. John was her husband. He's 4 years younger than her. Because their relationship was so well-established, they decided to take the next step.
